As State Treasurer my goals will be: To protect retirement funds of public employees To maintain Vermont's AA+ bond rating To work with the Governor and Legislature to assure that state obligations do not exceed revenues To continue to build an office that is efficient will well-trained employees who realize our job is to serve Vermonters To work with the Governor and Legislature to foster job creation and help build a strong state economy My background: Worked 16 years for large corporation, 10 years in management positions Own and operate a successful small business that I founded in 1984 Served as State Representative for 10 years Served as House Assistant Minority Leader for 4 years Served as House Majority Leader for 2 years Honest, hard-working, middle income Vermonter, happily married for 27 years, father of three children.
